Lesson Two: Decorating the Leather Strip

NOTE: YOUR DESIGN WILL BE UP TO YOU TO DECIDE If you plan on carving your design
What you will need:
• Leather stamps (needed for your design)
• Swivel knife
• Stylus
• Tracing Paper
• Granite square (can be purchased in two different sizes at Tandy Leather)
• Mallet (DO NOT USE A RUBBER OR METAL MALLET!) – Rawhide, plastic, or wooden mallets work best
• Soft sponge with no abrasive side

If you plan on only stamping your design
