Mahjong in Chinatown - May 24

Let's get together, make new friends, and play (or learn to play) mahjong. Beginners are always welcome. Donations towards the cost of running the Meetup website will be appreciated.

Today's mahjong game will be held at the Gee How Oak Tin Benevolent Association, in the heart of Chinatown. The venue has a small kitchen so feel free to bring snacks or drinks with you if you'd like.

We usually have at least 2 mahjong sets and 2 games (or more) going on at the same time but if you have a mahjong set, please consider bringing it with you so more people can play. One of the tables is usually set up to play riichi (Japanese mahjong). A standard mahjong game requires 4 players but a 3-player game is also possible if we are short of players.

There should be paid street parking near the venue on a Saturday afternoon but it might be more convenient to arrive by C-train.
