Mahjong at Brentwood - November 3

Let's get together, make new friends, and play (or learn to play) mahjong. Beginners are always welcome and lessons are FREE if you don't know how to play yet. Donations towards the cost of running the Meetup website will be appreciated.

Tonight's mahjong night will be held in the community room (downstairs)
at the Brentwood branch of the Calgary Co-op. The door to go downstairs is to the far right side after you enter the store.
Drop in anytime after 5 pm for an evening of fun!

We usually have at least 3 mahjong sets and 3 games (or more) going on at the same time but if you have a mahjong set (or a mahjong table) please consider bringing it with you so more people can play, as there are no mahjong supplies at this venue. One of the tables will be set up to play riichi (Japanese mahjong). A standard mahjong game requires 4 players but a 3-player game is also possible if we are short of players.

There should be plenty of free parking at the Brentwood Plaza so paying to park your vehicle is unnecessary. However, those parking for more than 2 hours will require a parking pass. We will have some to hand out at the community room so be sure to get one to place on yor car's dashboard. There is also an LRT station nearby if you arrive by transit
