Mahjong at the Chinatown Street Festival

What better thing to do at the Chinatown Street Festival than to play (or learn to play mahjong) outside! This will be a drop-in event so come play as little or as much as you like.

Beginners are always welcome to our events and we can teach you the game as we play. Donations towards the cost of running the Meetup website will be appreciated.

We will have 4 mahjong sets and 4 games going on at the same time but if you have a mahjong set, please consider bringing it with you. A standard mahjong game requires 4 players but a 3-player game is also possible if we are short of players.

Parking near Chinatown on this day will be difficult so please consider arriving by bicycle or public transit.
