About This Meetup

This meetup offers an introduction to medical hypnotherapy, based on training standards recognized by the Hypnotherapy Association (HAA) and the International Board of Hypnotherapy (IBH). IBH is an internationally recognized accreditation body with a professional network and advisory panel that includes physicians and healthcare professionals who support the responsible use of hypnotherapy as a complementary therapeutic approach.

The first part of the session will focus on understanding the model of the mind—how the conscious and subconscious mind function, how beliefs and habits are formed, and how subconscious patterns influence behaviors, emotions, and decision-making. We will also discuss common myths about hypnosis and clarify what medical hypnotherapy actually is.

We will also briefly cover the benefits and limitations of medical hypnotherapy. While hypnotherapy can be a powerful short-term therapeutic tool for relaxation, habit change, stress reduction, and mindset improvement, it is important to understand that it is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. Participants will learn where hypnotherapy can be helpful and where other professional interventions may be more appropriate.

In the second half of the meetup, participants will experience a guided group hypnotherapy session focused on relaxation and addressing psychological blocks related to prosperity and money mindset.
