In this talk, Adam will explain the concept of Event Modeling and give examples of using it on actual projects ranging from startups to established fortune 500 companies to public government organizations. At the core, participants will learn how this technique takes complexity and systematically deconstructs into a form that can be understood by anyone in a step by step process using examples.

We'll explore how this concept helps traditional solutions as well as modern, event-driven ones. Concepts that are confusing because of the buzzwords surrounding these approaches will be clarified. We will show how quickly one can start using the methodology, identify resources to continue learning - and also unlearn some dysfunctional patterns we are faced with.
