Calgary New Friends Circle is a casual social group for young adults ages 18β34 in Calgary who want to get out, meet new people, and build real friendships.
This is not an all-ages adult group. The age range helps keep the group comfortable and easier for people to connect. Thanks for understanding.

Calgary New Friends Circle is a friendly, low-pressure space to meet new people through simple social activities.

No awkward networking. No pressure to be super outgoing. Just show up as you are.
π² ABOUT THIS EVENT
For this event, weβre doing a casual cycling social.
This is not a race or workout. Weβll keep it slow, relaxed, and beginner-friendly.
Plan:
π Start: South side of Peace Bridge, downtown Calgary side
π Ride: Bow River pathway
π Go until: East Village area
π¬ Stop: Short break to talk and relax
π Return: Ride back toward Peace Bridge
π End: Near Peace Bridge / Bow River pathway
The goal is simple: ride a little, talk, meet good people, and enjoy Calgary.
π² BIKE REQUIREMENT
Please make sure you have access to a bike or e-bike before the event.
You can:
π² Bring your own bike or e-bike
π² Rent a bike or e-bike before the event
β° Book or arrange your rental early so you are not rushing last minute

π² SAFETY NOTE
Weβll ride slow and stay together.
Please:
π² Keep about 1β2 bike lengths between riders
πΆ Slow down near pedestrians
π Use your bell when passing
π« No racing or risky riding
β No sudden stops unless needed
π Stay aware of people walking, kids, dogs, and other cyclists
π Follow pathway signs and rules
πͺ Helmets are recommended, but not mandatory for regular adult cyclists
If you are riding an e-bike or power-assist bike, please check the current helmet rules and wear one if required.
If you are not comfortable riding in a small group, this may not be the best event to start with.
