(Canceled due to rain) Early Morning Big Beehive & Devil’s Thumb Hike

Hey everyone im Dima and I cant wait to see every single one who joins to have a blast hike and chill at banff national park.

We will be leaving calgary @ 4:30 to secure a parking spot - if you are an owl like me and can wake up this early I cant wait meeting you!

Let’s take on one of the most epic and rewarding hikes in the Lake Louise area – Big Beehive and Devil’s Thumb! 🌄

This hike is around 13 km round trip with about 1100 meters of elevation gain. It’s definitely not an easy hike – there’s a bit of a scramble near the top, but the views from Devil’s Thumb are absolutely worth it! 💪

We’ll stop for a break at the cozy Lake Agnes Tea House on the way up (or down) and pass by two smaller lakes before climbing up to Big Beehive and then pushing on to Devil’s Thumb for jaw-dropping views of Lake Louise from above.

Need a ride?
I can fit up to 6 people in my car (tight but fun 😄).
If you’ve got a car, let me know if you can bring someone.
If you don’t have a car and want to join, we’ll meet in downtown Calgary to carpool.

The hike is free of charge, but we will split the gas,parking and banff fee with the drivers. Plus we will try to go with as few cars as possible. (Estimate 30$ from a person)

What to bring:
✔ Plenty of water
✔ Snacks or lunch
✔ Good hiking shoes (grippy ones!)
✔ Trekking poles (optional but helpful)
✔ Your adventurous spirit 😄
