Buy/Sell/Trade Event

Welcome to the Calgary Photographic Society (CPS) Meetup group. For those of you that are not familiar with CPS, we are a photography club that was incorporated on April 20, 1977. We are a group of enthusiastic photographers and members who have a passion for photography.

This is our first time hosting a Buy/Sell/Trade Photography Equipment and Props event. With so many online groups (Facebook, Kijiji, etc.) we thought it would be good to have a place where we could all get together to sell our photography goods and have a more hands on appeal. Being photographers we all buy those items that we use once and then never again. It just sits on a shelf collecting dust. This is a good opportunity to get rid of those items that you don't use anymore and find them a good home.

The Buy/Sell/Trade event will be at the Brentwood Sportsplex, 1520B Northmount Dr NW on the second floor, Saturday May 25, 2024 from 11am - 2pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no charge to attend the sale and there is free parking at the Sportsplex. We will also have a few door prizes to give away.

If you have items that you would like to sell, you can purchase a table for $20/table. If you would like to split a table with another seller, that would be fine. The cost is still $20/table. CPS will not be taking any commissions on your sales. You take home 100% of your earnings. CPS is just providing the venue for the event.

Items for sale can be anything photography related. Cameras, lenses, old film, lighting, props, backdrops, even your own photographic art. New or used as long as it is photography related you can purchase a table to sell your items. All items are sold as is and CPS is not liable for any items sold by the sellers.

For those of you who are coming to browse and see what is up for sale, we will also be running 4 half hour photography speaker presentations in a side room from the main hall. There is no charge for the presentations, but seating is limited. Take in 1, 2 or all 4 of the presentations and enjoy the show.

This event is meant to bring in all levels of photographers from beginners to pro level photographers. Anyone is welcome to purchase a table or who would like to attend a photography event in the City of Calgary.
