Global Day of Coderetreat Spread Over a Week

COME FOR ONLY AN HOUR AND A HALF EACH DAY!!

This year, the Calgary Software Crafters are going to continue their tradition of offering a weeklong Coderetreat event where you only need to come for 90 minutes a day.

The week’s schedule (Saturday, November 5 - Wednesday, November 9)

Saturday 11:45 AM - 3:00 PM MDT - Coderetreat introduction (in-person space opens at 11:15 AM or join remotely at 11:45 AM)

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME CHANGE. All following times are in MST.

Sunday 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM MST - First practise session
Monday 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM MST - Second practise session
Monday 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM MST - Games session with Sponsors
Tuesday 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM MST - Third practise session
Wednesday 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM MST - Fourth practise session
Wednesday 1:15 PM - 1:45 PM MST - Retrospective

**The final retrospective may go longer but you are welcome to leave at any time.

Never been to a Coderetreat before? Have no fear, we'll walk you through it all.

We are bringing back the successful weeklong format that we have used for the last two years with two changes that we hope will improve the experience.

You have the option to attend in-person on the first day.

If you would like to attend in-person on the first day, we will be meeting in the InceptionU space at the Central Library (800 3 St SE, Calgary, AB). It is the yellow door on the third floor, in the SE corner. You have to ring the bell. Please plan to arrive at 11:15 AM so that you have time to settle in and meet everyone else. The fun will start at 11:45 AM.

If Zoom is more your style, don't worry!! We have planned the event to be just as fun and accessible for people attending remotely as it is in-person.

Coderetreat Buddies

Events are always more fun when you do them with friends. When you sign up, we will give you the option to choose if you want to be part of a buddy group that goes through the coderetreat together. If this is your first time at a coderetreat, this is a great way to learn the ropes!
