Join us for our annual SWISH—a joyful gathering where clothing finds new life and community spirit shines. For many years, For the Love of Trees has hosted this event to bring people together around sustainability, creativity, and care for the Earth.


How it works:
Bring the clothes you no longer wear—and take home the same number of items in return. Only quality clothing is accepted (think gently worn, freshly washed, and still in style). After the official exchange, we open the floor for a fun and free-flowing giveaway of whatever’s left.


Why it matters:
Clothing swaps are one small but powerful way to live in reciprocity with the Earth. They keep textiles out of landfills, reduce the demand for new production, and help us shift our relationship to fashion toward one that’s more creative, conscious, and connected.


Giving back:
Tickets are $20, available at the door or through our community contacts. Once we cover the cost of the hall, all remaining proceeds go to support the incredible work of the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary.


Event Details:

Clothing drop-off: 11:30 AM
Doors open: 12:30 PM – come early to browse our book counter and silent auction
Fashion show: 1:00 PM
SWISH begins: 1:45 PM
