January 19, 2023 Calgary Value Investing Meetup!

Hi everyone!

Join us on Thursday, January 19th, for a discussion about value investment strategies and ideas at the Bank & Baron pub downtown (in the Manager's Office private room, located immediately left of the entrance).

Agenda:
5:30 pm: Meet and greet, chat, and order food and drinks (if you want!)

6:00 pm: (10m presentation + 10m Q&A): Investment Banking 101 (Conor Ross) – This presentation will be an overview of how investment banking works based on firsthand experience in a large U.S. investment bank, primarily in oil and gas A&D. The discussion will include walking through the lifecycle of a deal.

6:20 pm: 2022 year-end review.

6:30 pm: Lessons learned/investment ideas discussion.

We have a capacity limit due to the size of the space, so please RSVP (and cancel if something comes up to make room for others).
