All,

Topic: Quick & cost effective wins / Small cool projects that worked.
In today's harsh economic climate budgets for many large projects have been halted -- and everyone is being told to "do more with less." Join us on Wednesday, May 20th to learn about smaller projects that others have undertaken and how these initiatives have saved organizations time/money or increased efficiencies.
For this event to be successful we'll require input from many of our members -- we're looking for simple 5 minute case studies in PowerPoint focusing on:
The business challenge you were addressing
What you implemented/built to address the business challenge (if you looked multiple software vendors a quick run down of who you looked at would be helpful)
A few quick screencaps if applicable
The outcome and any lessons learned
Examples of projects that could be presented on include:
Implementation of a MOSS based Supplier Extranet to provide secured information to Suppliers
Replaced an in-house built email/address registration database with a hosted Software As A Service application
Implementation of a Google Appliance such as Google Analytics
Implementation of an open source blog to help manage a server farm
This event will only be successful if we get a minimum of 5 to 10 case studies. If your organization is willing to share a quick case study with the Users Group, please contact me either by email or phone to discuss your case study and logistics.
