Badminton Meet Up At MNP Community and Sport Centre

This is the schedule for public racket at MNP
Gym 4 open 4:30PM - 10:00PM (FULL GYM)
Gym 2 is also open from 5:00AM - 10:00PM (FULL GYM)
Doesn't mean every court is available at those times!
We will be playing from 7:15pm-8:15pm and from 8:15-9:15pm in GYM 4 if courts are available! Anyone can stay and play till 10pm if its not occupied!
- The max capacity with the amount of people its limited. Please let me know if you cant make it in advance!
- If anything changes I will give an update here!
Meet up and play badminton at MNP Community and Sport Centre (Formerly Repsol, Talisman and Lindsay Park).
We meet every Tuesday and Thursday usually around 715pm usually in Gym 4 depending on gym availability.
Any skill levels are welcome.
Just drop in and play.
You will have to get a membership to MNP Community and Sport Centre (currently $80/ month for yearly rate) or pay a drop in fee (currently $17).
Parking is free.
There are locker-rooms, showers (no towel service), sauna, hot tub and olympic class facilities.
There are free lockers if you bring a lock otherwise there are loonie lockers.
There are also loaner Badminton racquets and birdies for free (the birdies are usually in rough shape).
Do not play dangerous shots.
If you are not 100% sure whether or not a shot was in or out then you
resolve in favour of the opponent.
** *Reminder* There is a free Discord chat where it's possible to do your own matchmaking and play during non-busy times.**
**The facility is currently having troubles keeping a consistent water temperature for the showers.**
***Also gym 2 is quite hot!
If you can't make it to our events due to distance, time, funds or other reasons then there is a Discord chat where you can do your own matchmaking.
