Camping at Boulton Creek Campground (Kananaskis)

Details
· There is likely no cell service at the campground so we will be unreachable from the afternoon of the 20th onwards. Any questions, message Jen before that.
· Make sure you are familiar with the Alberta Parks Regulations. We are assuming everyone is an experienced camper and knows what to bring. If you aren’t experienced or unsure what to bring, please reach out before the 20th.
· You will need a Kananaskis Conservation Pass.
· Bring some cash as some stores only take cash at campgrounds and you don’t want to miss out on ice cream!
· We will be cooking breakfast (pancakes and sausages) at our site 112 for everyone Saturday or Sunday morning depending on the weather and what plans we have for the day. All other meals we will do separately unless someone wants to organize a potluck.
· We will have real coffee each morning at 112. (BYOCup). 😊
· Make sure you have Bear Spray!!!
· Kayaking/Paddling: We will have a few inflatable kayaks and paddleboards so those without kayaks can paddle with us.
· Hiking: Bring your hiking gear if you wish to hike. No specific trail in mind and there have been some bear closures but it will be easy/moderate.
· Don’t forget sunscreen and bug spray! With all this rain, the mosquitos might be bad.
· Depending on the fire situation, you may want to bring some firewood or it is available for purchase there. We have a small propane firepit but bring one if you have one in case of a fireban.
· Checkin is 4:00pm, checkout is 2:00pm.
The campground is sold out but join Schnerp and Alberta Parks availability notifications. I get notified of a few cancellations each week but you have to be fast. See comments for additional information.
