EVENT: Play Hand and Foot Canasta while enjoying meeting new people, social interaction, camaraderie, challenge, honing our card skills, communication, mental stimulation, bidding, and scoring points! Maybe😉even winning a game!😏This is a group for people that know how to play canasta type card games. (If you want to learn you are welcome to come watch for a session or two!) The minimum required for this event is 4 people. The maximum is 24 people. You do not need to bring a partner. We can play in groups of 3, 4 or 6 people.
There are many versions of this game, so house rules apply. We review the rules at the start of each evening. If you want to pre-view the rules send Deana your email through Meetup message and I will email you a copy of our 🏠 HOUSE RULES.

WHEN: THURSDAYS (every second week) Card game starts at 6:00 pm sharp and goes until 9:30. (You can come a bit earlier if you would like to socialize, have a practice round or have a meal first).🍷🍸 🍾🥂😁

COST/PAYMENT: a $2 Meetup fee for each event.

WHO: For Singles 50+ and others. This is a multi- Meetup/Facebook event.
DRESS CODE: Dress comfortably in layers. ☝️🤓Bring reading glasses, 🕶if you need them
PARKING/TRANSPORTATION: Ample free parking available in the adjacent lot of the venue.🚙🚗🚐

CONSIDERATIONS: The venue is providing us the space at no cost so please order food and or drinks. No outside food/drinks please!

CONDITIONS: If you must cancel, please give 36 hours notice. Short cancels 😒 disappoint others expecting to play with partners!!

WAIVER By signing up (RSVP) for this event, you signify that you are aware that the organizers and hosts of this event are volunteers and may hold no special training. You are aware of all the risks associated with this event, and aware of your physical and emotional limits and how they relate to this particular event. You acknowledge that you have sufficient medical insurance coverage in the event of any injury. You also agree that you take full responsibility without exception for the safety and well-being of yourself and your guest(s) and promise to not hold the host(s) or event organizers of any groups or venues responsible for any harm, injury or property damage that might occur as a result of your voluntary participation. Participants understand that they may be photographed and agree to allow their photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the organizers. Participants who agree to carpool do so at their own discretion and risk. You acknowledge that it is unsafe and against the law for you to drive while impaired by alcohol and/or drugs.
