## Directions to the Design Lab at the Senator Burns Building (SAIT)

We will host the event at Design Lab, located at the Senator Burns Building, SAIT Campus, 1301 16 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB T2M 0L4.

### How to get to the Senator Burns Building:

By CTrain
- Take the **Red Line** CTrain to **SAIT/ACAD/Jubilee Station**.
- Exit the station and walk northwest toward campus (3–5 minutes).
- Follow campus signage to **Senator Burns Building (building code "N")**.
By Car
- Use a GPS app and search for “Senator Burns Building, SAIT.”
- Paid parking is available in several SAIT lots (P1, P2, etc.).
- Walk toward the center of campus and follow signage to “N” building.

### Finding the Design Lab (Room NK013)

Walking Directions to Room NK013
1. Starting Point – CTrain Station:
* Begin walking from the train station toward the stop sign.
* Turn right - You'll walk on the grass for a bit — don’t worry, it’s fine.
2. Landmarks to Watch For:
* You'll see the **Stan Grad Centre** ahead.
* If you’re coming from the **Polytechnic Parkade**, it's the closest parking lot to **Heritage Hall**.
3. Continue Walking Straight:
* From Heritage Hall, keep going straight. You’ll pass under blooming trees and follow a circular pattern of walkways.
4. Look for Tim Hortons:
* Once you see Tim Hortons, turn **left**.
* You’ll pass mobile pickup signs and signs for the **MK (Markin Hall)** building.
* Keep heading straight toward the entrance.
5. Enter the Building:
* Go through the door and **take the first right** to head toward the basement.
* There’s minimal signage, but you should see a small sign for **"Basement Floor K"**.
* You’re on the right path if you see room **NK001**.
6. Final Destination – NK013:
* Continue walking straight through the hallway.
* You’ll pass **NK011** and finally arrive at **NK013**, the classroom you’re looking for.
