Welcome to California Camping Adventures

CCA is a group for people who want to get outside, camp, explore new places, and have a good time without overcomplicating things.

Most of our trips are relaxed weekend camping trips around Southern California, with the occasional longer trip. We camp in deserts, mountains, forests, and other scenic spots, usually within a few hours of Los Angeles.

We usually camp in beautiful, dispersed locations, hand picked (usually no amenities unless it's a developed site). Our campsites are vehicle-accessible, and everyone brings their own camping gear, food, water, and supplies.

There usually isn’t a packed itinerary. Once we get to camp, the idea is pretty simple: relax, explore, hang out, sit around the fire, and enjoy being outside with a good group of people.

Most trips have a small fee, usually around $5 per person, to help cover Meetup expenses and to ensure we limit no-shows. This group is about camping and community, not making a profit.

### A Few Important Things

Members and guests must be 21 or older.
Everyone is responsible for their own safety, vehicle, gear, and actions during trips.
California Camping Adventures and its organizers are not responsible for injuries, vehicle damage, lost property, or other issues that may occur.
Come prepared with appropriate camping gear, food, supplies, and plenty of water.

### RSVP & Payment

Payment is due when you RSVP if the event requires a fee. Unpaid RSVPs may be removed if space is limited.
No-shows are not refundable. If you cancel before the final week and your spot is filled by someone else, your payment may be credited toward a future trip.
