FISH CREEK CAMPGROUND (KENNEDY MEADOWS) — July 3–5, 2026

Cool mountain air, alpine meadows, rivers, and star-filled skies. We’ll be heading up to the beautiful Fish Creek Campground, just past Kennedy Meadows, for a relaxed summer camping trip in the Sierra.
This area sits high in the mountains and is surrounded by forest, meadows, and streams. It’s a great place to escape the summer heat, explore the outdoors, and enjoy a weekend in nature.
Fish Creek Campground has basic amenities, but plan to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need for the weekend.

Access: The roads are paved most of the way, with some mountain driving toward the campground. You are coming at your own risk. Please do your own research to ensure you can make it up there.

Warning!!!!!
As of now (March 2026) the campsite is closed, however this wil llikely change closer we get to the meetup date. If that is not the case, we will change the campsite location to Kennedy Meadows.

PLAN
FRIDAY (7/3):
We will meet at 11:00 AM at the Shell Gas Station in Pearsonville.
Please do not be late, as the group will be leaving shortly after meeting up.
From there we will caravan up toward Kennedy Meadows and continue on to Fish Creek Campground.
Once we arrive, we’ll pick campsites, set up camp, and relax.
At night we’ll have a campfire going, hang out, play some games, and enjoy the evening.

SATURDAY (7/4):
Relaxation and exploration day. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, exploring the surrounding forest and meadows, or simply hanging out at camp.
Everyone is free to do their own thing or join others if they want to explore.

SUNDAY (7/5):
Slow morning, coffee at camp, and pack up whenever you're ready.
