Odyssey Mirror Studio Dance Photography Workshop

Introducing a new creative direction for DPW - The Odyssey Mirror Studio! This incredible space is a 500sq ft immersive [studio] with customizable color ways and luminous flooring. Surrounded by infinity mirrors that line the ceiling and partial walls with RGBW lights remote control. Add in some of LA’s most expressive dancers and you have a whole lot of unique imagery in your portfolio!

First, the photographers will be introduced to the dancers with a number of creative exercises. This will include action shots, balances, poses, jumps, free movement and improvisation. Each photographer will then have the opportunity to work one on one with dancer(s) of their choice, leading their own segment. This will allow for the unique opportunity to explore their artistic vision(s) with the guidance of a movement director. During this time the other photographers are welcome to shoot, as long as it's not invasive.

Parking: paid onsite gated parking or free street parking.
