The walls and floor of Buckeye Canyon on the north side of San Bruno Mountain was scoured clean by a flood on New Years Day 2023. It's been amazing to watch the recovery of the flora and fauna of the canyon, but because invasive plants love disturbed ground, they are a constant threat. Come help us foster the rich diversity of this canyon which supports an amazing array of flowers, plants, butterflies, and birds!

There is poison oak in the area so please wear long sleeves and we'll supply gloves.
Tools, gloves (freshly laundered) & educational booklets will be provided.S
Please bring sun protection & water.
