Mulch Day at Cahalan Park - Help prepare for a new pollinator garden!

Come help us sheet mulch to prepare for our new Children's Pollinator Garden to be planted in the fall. We will be covering the area with cardboard as a weed barrier and spreading mulch on top of the cardboard. Learn how you can use this technique in your own garden.

Help us help the endangered Monarch Butterfly!

First-time volunteers will need to fill out a form from the City of San Jose available at https://lakecunninghamnativegarden.files.wordpress.com/2022/01/2021-volunteer-service-agreement-adoptapark-version.pdf

Wear a hat, gloves, and sturdy garden shoes. Bring plenty of fluids and hydrate often.
