Mulch Day at Clarice Drive - Help prepare for a new pollinator garden!

VENUE: Clarice Drive and Quimby Road - Across the street from Katherine Smith Elementary School in East San Jose

Come help us convert a neglected piece of land across from an elementary school into a beautiful pollinator garden! We will be putting down cardboard as a weed barrier and spreading mulch in preparation for planting. Learn how you can use this technique in your own garden.

Help us bring a bit of nature to the neighborhood and help the endangered Monarch Butterfly in the process!

Wear a hat, gloves, and sturdy garden shoes. Bring plenty of fluids and hydrate often.

Directions: From Tully Road, go north on Quimby Road. At the traffic circle, turn left on Clarice Drive. Park along Clarice Drive. The site is on the opposite side of Tully Road from Eastridge Mall.
