Denny’s has a nice private room where we can close the doors and keep the noise to ourselves.

• How hard do you want it to be?
• Resources.

An exhibit on the Wells Fargo wagon triggered thoughts about how it would be for colonists in another star system without faster-than-light travel. I used that inspiration and published the Tau Ceti trilogy. That effort spawned new ideas for the universe I had created, and more novels followed.
