What we’re about

Our mission is to bring people together through the art of calisthenics, foster a connection to nature with outdoor workouts, and inspire each warrior to embrace their full potential.

Even if you are new to calisthenics or cannot do a single pull-up, you still belong here. Everyone starts somewhere, and we can modify any movement to your current capabilities.

What we do

  1. We meet at beautiful Lincoln Park in West Seattle. There is a set of high bars in the woods where we will do our freestyle calisthenics workout which lasts about an hour, including warmup.
  2. From there, the event is over but you are invited to join the host for a jog along the beach, a hill sprint, and finally a cold plunge in the ocean!

What to bring

  1. Workout clothes.
  2. If you’re joining the cold plunge, bring a towel and wear a swimsuit under your workout clothes.

Group Rules

  1. Respect: Treat all members with kindness and respect. We’re here to support and motivate each other on our fitness journeys.
  2. Safety: Prioritize safety in all activities. Proper warmup, form, and technique are essential to prevent injuries. Listen to your body.
  3. Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and welcome individuals of all fitness levels, backgrounds, and abilities.
  4. Supportive environment: Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to fellow members. We’re a team, and we lift each other up.
  5. Accountability: Stay committed to your goals and share your achievements and challenges openly with the group.
  6. Have fun: Enjoy your Calisthenics Odyssey!

This group is free to participate in, and I want to keep it this way for the community as long as the people want. You may donate via Venmo @jmmrz on a completely voluntary basis. This goes toward the annual hosting fees.
