The Quiet Hour: Sunrise Yoga on Delray Beach

Begin your Sunday with the sunrise, movement, breath, and a little space to simply be.

The Quiet Hour is a gentle, beginner-friendly sunrise yoga and wellness practice on Delray Beach, led by Mark A. Turnipseed, 200-hour certified yoga teacher and co-founder of Halo42.

Together we’ll move through mindful yoga, breathwork, meditation, and stillness—an hour to reconnect with your body, quiet the mind, and begin the day feeling grounded and present.

This isn’t about being good at yoga. No experience is necessary, and there’s nothing to accomplish. Just come as you are.

The Quiet Hour reflects a simple idea at the heart of both my personal practice and Halo42: wellness doesn’t always need to mean doing more. Sometimes it’s creating enough space to breathe, move, connect, and return to yourself.

We practice as the sun rises over the Atlantic, surrounded by the ocean, sand, fresh air, and community.

WHERE WE MEET:

We meet on Delray Beach approximately 100 yards north of the N1 lifeguard stand. Park along A1A between the N1 and N2 lifeguard stands, then walk north along the beach until you find us.

Bring a yoga mat, large towel, or blanket—whatever you’re comfortable practicing on in the sand. Water is always a good idea.

Come breathe with us. Come move with us. Come meet the sunrise together.

The only requirements are to be sober and to COME AS YOU ARE.
