Sing in a Choir with Camarata Music in 2024! Beethoven and Contemporary Music!

No experience needed!

Come and join the Camarata Music Chorale this spring to sing Beethoven, some contemporary music, and more, as we prepare for our annual spring and early-summer concerts. This year's spring concert will feature Beethoven's "Mass in C" as the center stage music. This masterwork is a thing of true beauty, and one of the best pieces of music ever written by Beethoven! All together with the orchestra and choir, this will be a great performance and a wonderful experience for everyone! Rehearsals are every Sunday from 4:00 - 6:30/7pm.
Rehearsals begin January 28, 2023, and the concert will be in late-April/early-May. This will be immediately followed by a contemporary choral music concert, performed in late-June. We will be preparing for both concerts simultaneously, and all new members are welcome to come!

카마라타 뮤직 합창단에 오셔서 함께 하세요. 우리는 여름 재즈 팝스 컨서트를 준비하고 있으며, 바로 뒤이어(여름에서부터 조금씩) 1년마다 하는 카마라타 크리스마스 컨서트를 준비할 것입니다. 여름 컨서트는 1년 중 우리가 하는 연주회 중 가장 편안하고 즐거운 연주회이고, 크리스마스 컨서트는 1년마다 하는 가장 큰 국제적인 행사중의 하나입니다. 우리의 여름 컨서트에서 우리는 밥 칠코트의 “작은 재즈 미사곡”을 재즈 트리오와 함께 연주하며, 다른 유명한 팝송들도 함께 연주할 것입니다. 크리스마스에는 전 세계의 아름다운 음악들을 오케스트라와 함께 연주할 것입니다. 리허설은 2023년 8월6일에 시작되며 매주 일요일 오후 4시에서 6시30분 또는 7시까지 진행합니다. 새로 참가하는 분들도 누구나 환영합니다.리허설: 일요일마다 16:00 ~18:30/19:00

➤WHAT TO EXPECT:
Newcomers will first register, then our conductor, Dr. Ryan Goessl, will listen to you and place you accordingly in the choir (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). Newcomers are asked to please arrive at 3pm! Rehearsal is from 4:00-7PM, with breaks in-between. After rehearsal, we sometimes go out for dinner. We’d love for you to join us!

➤기대되는것들:새로 오시는 분들은 먼저 등록하시고, 다음에 지휘자인 라이언 게슬을 만날 것입니다. 그는 여러분의 소리를 듣고, 합창단의 어느 파트에서 부를 지를 정해줍니다. (소프라노,알토,테너,베이스). 새로 오시는 분은 3시까지 오시기를 부탁드립니다. 리허설은 오후 3시30분부터 7시까지이며 중간에 휴식 시간이 있습니다. 리허설 후에 가끔 저녁 식사를 함께 하기도 합니다. 여러분 모두 함께 참여해주시면 좋겠습니다.

➤DIRECTIONS:
From Hangangjin Station (line 5), take exit 2 and turn to the right onto the main hannam-dong road (hannam-daero) about 50 meters after you exit out of the subway exit, and walk straight. Walk straight for a couple minutes, and cross the pedestrian bridge (the second bridge). Keep walking in the same direction on the other side of the street, and the International Catholic Church will be on your left, right after Ilshin Building (landrover, italian embassy).
