Lake Casitas

3.75 mile walk through the Lake Casitas recreation area. Scenic stroll on a paved road, through moderately hilly terrain with terrific views of the lake.
We will end at an open picnic area with an opportunity to eat a packed lunch or go down to take a look at the shoreline.

Meet just outside the main entrance where parking is free, under the oak tree near the stone lake Casitas sign. If the parking area there is full, there is also parking on the road to the South.
