Croquet on the Esplanade

An afternoon of croquet on the esplanade. All ages and abilities. For entertainment purposes only -- and bragging rights. Casual attire. Optional: Snacks and poetry.

LOCATION: Under the giant oak trees on the Memorial Drive center median just in front of the MIT Dome, just east of Massachusetts Avenue. Please be careful crossing the street!

Update 6/6/25 (2): The Saturday forecast keeps getting worse and all of the metrics for Sunday look so much better. The votes in the comments section indicate at least a quorum for a Sunday game. Therefore, our meetup event is bumped to Sunday, June 8, 2:00-5:00.

I have two full-sized croquet sets (8 balls, 7 mallets) if the attendance is greater than 10 and you have a set, bring it! In any case, we can always partner up and share mallets.
