Baruch Speiser: "AI Sentience: The Blue/Orange Problem"

The leap to Generative AI has changed the way we see artificial intelligence. Machines are no longer just able to answer our questions, but they are able to answer them with creativity and personality. This leads us into deep philosophical questions around the emergence of artificial digital life. AI may not be "alive" today - but will that change? Are we prepared for what that might mean? Do we even know what that means? This talk aims to challenge what we think we know about AI, and whether or not we can truly see how it could shape the future.

Baruch Speiser is the CTO of Cambium and has been deeply engaged with emerging technology for over 30 years. As the geek that other geeks come to with their geek problems, he's thought a lot about where technology is headed and is eager to share his random thoughts with whomever has enough patience to listen.

Description: Flutter provides a lot of flexibility in deciding how to organize and architect your apps. While this freedom is important, we still need to separate UI and functionality code as much as we can.

Matan Lazimi is an active member in the Flutter community, and his primary focus is producing mobile applications for Cambium's customers. He earned his bachelors in Software Engineering at SCE College in Beer Sheva.
