Meeting #28: Machine Learning: AWS Personalize Workshop

Note: We are excited to announce that this event will be hosted at the AWS Cambridge Offices!

In this meet-up our good friend Dr Andrew Kane (Principal Solution Architect - AWS) will be running a hands-on Workshop on the newly available service AWS Personalize.

AWS Personalize is a real-time recommendation engine built on the same technology used at Amazon.com. A machine learning service, personalise is being increasingly used to improve customer engagement by powering personalized product and content recommendations, tailored search results, and targeted marketing promotions and is designed for ease-of-use by developers.

In this workshop Dr Kane will provide us with an opportunity to get hands-on with Personalize by taking us through a structured workshop to build a recommendation engine.

Note that if you want to take part in the Workshop please bring your laptop and have access to an AWS account you can use. Dr Kane will provide AWS credits to cover any costs you may incur. Of course, if you just want to watch the Workshop this is absolutely fine as well because everything will presented on screen!
