What are the consequences of holding a wrong philosophy?

What examples of "wrong" philosophies or ideas do you know? How do you know they are wrong?

How can you validate that your philosophical ideas are correct? Inversely, how would you know if they are wrong? How do you avoid biases?

Come discuss this topic and whether you agree with Ayn Rand or not in a roundtable format with other interested people! We use Rand's writings as a starting point for the discussion but this group is for discussing philosophical issues more generally! Feel free to come present your or your favourite philosopher's ideas on the subject.

Location: We will be meeting inside the Duke of Cambridge pub, at the back near the board game tables
Format: Roundtable discussion, moderated to ensure everyone gets a shot at intervening on each point and to keep the discussion on topic.

Feel free to message the group if you have any trouble finding us or ask the bartenders
