What we’re about
We are a collective focused on the economic, social, and intrapersonal development of Boston's black male community. Through in-depth discussion, action-based planning, and critical-analysis on macro and micro socioeconomic scales, we look to improve the quality of life for black men in the Boston area, while in turn improving the quality of life for those across the Greater Boston Area. We believe in constructive, inclusive, and ecologically sound action. We want to build the foundation using every tool from a variety of toolboxes at our disposal, while handing down the benefits we reap from our labor to our children, and to Mother Earth.
Our mission is as follows:
-Empower black male leaders in their social, political and business
endeavors and growth.
-Support men of color in strategic leadership development, social and
emotional intelligence, civic education and engagement, entrepreneurship
and job readiness.
-Create an inclusive environment for supporting black male leaders.
-Fortify the efforts of all leaders in creating or finding support groups that
tailor to their specific needs.
-Construct innovative and effective ways to bridge gender, racial, and
ethnic gaps between black males and other communites, leading the
meaningful and healthy collaboration.
