Cambridge Creative Corner

This course is an introduction to ceramics and focuses on hand build techniques. You will learn all aspects of hand building including slab building, coiling, slumping and pinching.

For the first four weeks you will learn how to handle and construct with clay by working through a new project each week. The final two weeks will be spent learning the basics of glazing while painting your creations ready to be fired to take home.

All materials, glazing and firing are included in the price.

Although perfect for beginners, the course includes scope for more experienced students, who feel confident in their building, to develop their own style in a supportive environment.

This 6 week course is designed to provide an introduction to the world printmaking, making it an ideal choice for beginners.
Each week you will have the opportunity to learn a new Printmaking technique (monoprinting, etching, intaglio, relief, lino printing and reduction lino printing)

You will be encouraged to create artwork inspired by your own interests and photos, allowing you to explore your creativity and develop your skills.

By the end of the course, you will have produced some wonderful prints to take home, and in the case of the collagraph and lino sessions, you will have printing blocks that you can keep and re-print from at home.
