Lino Printmaking Course (6 weeks)

This is a 6 week Lino Printmaking course.
Although this course builds on lino printmaking skills you may already have it is also perfect for beginners, who will be given step by step tuition in each printmaking discipline.

You will learn:
- traditional lino carving, (including mark making and block printing skills)
- black and white lino
- multi block colour lino
- Chine collé (An art form developed in the 1800s using oriental papers to create a layered print.)

Each week you will develop a new lino printing skill and you will be encouraged to create artwork inspired by your own interests and photos, allowing you to explore your creativity and develop your skills.

By the end of the course, you will not only have produced some wonderful prints and have printing blocks that you can keep and re-print from at home but you will have the skills to continue your printmaking journey!
