Cambridge Film Forum: October 2025 – One Battle After Another

Hello, Cambridge film lovers!

For our October forum, we will be discussing One Battle After Another. This action thriller stars Leonardo di Caprio as a washed-up political revolutionary who reteams with his former allies to go on a daring rescue mission.

Directed by the iconic Paul Thomas Anderson (Phantom Thread, There Will Be Blood) and loosely based on a novel by the famously idiosyncratic Thomas Pynchon, One Battle After Another has recently become Metacritic's highest-reviewed movie of the decade.

The film is released in cinemas on 26 September and is set to be showing at all three Cambridge cinemas, but please check your local cinema listings to find a screening in preparation for this event.
