Cambridge Film Forum: November 2025 – Bugonia

This month's choice is Bugonia, the latest film from director Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor Things, The Favorite), which stars Emma Stone as a pharmaceutical firm CEO who is suspected of being an alien intent on destroying the earth.

Bugonia has been described as an absurdist black comedy and has been hailed by critics as "a bonkers entertainment that applies director Yorgos Lanthimos' whip-smart method to modern society's madness".

The film is likely to be showing at all three Cambridge cinemas, but please check your local cinema listings to find a screening ahead of this event.
