St Neots - Paxton pits - 24km loop

Join us for a 24 km hike starting at Market Square, St Neots. We’ll walk through the Paxton pits nature reserve. We will also cover Heronry Lake, washout pit, Graveley, and monk Hardwick footpath. We will stop around 1 pm for lunch. We aim to reach St Neots around 5.30 pm. This is full route:

Afterward, we may stop for a drink at a pub in St Neots or near Drummers Street, depending on bus availability (the bus to Cambridge runs once an hour).
Please bring waterproof hiking shoes/boots (there may be mud), packed lunch, and water.
Meeting point: 9 am at Drummers Street Bus Station for the 9:15 am bus (Route: Bedford, Bus No. 905).
