Chiltern Hills Hitchin loop (24.6 km, 15.3 miles)

Please note: sign up in meetup only for new members, people who have already joined the WhatsApp group will join via the WhatsApp event.

We will start at Hitchin train station and walk through Oughtonhead common and the Pegsdon Hills. There will be nice views from Noon Hill. Our lunchstop will be somewhere there (please bring packed lunch). We will have a pub stop for a drink in Great Offley, after about 2/3 into the walk.

Train: 9.23 am from Cambridge main station (arriving in Hitchin 9.55 am)
Train back: probably between 5 and 6 pm

Food: Make sure you take plenty of water with you, snacks and packed lunch.

Bring: Food as described above, walking kit - hiking boots, waterproof jacket, warm layers, waterproof trousers

Fitness: Ensure you can walk this distance, likely through the mud and potentially in the rain.
