Description: This walk begins at Dullingham Train station at 10:01am.

We soon join the Stour Valley Path, offering views of brilliant autumn foliage and if we are lucky some special animal guests! We will take a lunch break at Great Thurlow, with The Cock pub located close by for drinks. Shortly after, passing the Culver Gallery, an artistic printmaking centre we enter back into bucolic Suffolk rolling hills. There are several churches en route in the quiet hamlets of Little Bradley, Little Thurlow and Great Wrattling. Descending past a water tower, we enter our final destination of Haverhill, where we may take a tipple at either The Woolpack or The Rose and Crown.

We should get back to Cambridge by around 5:30pm.

This is a long walk. Please ensure you can walk this distance before signing up. Bring lots of water and snacks, as well as lunch.

Logistics: If travelling from Cambridge, we will meet up at the rail station at 9.30am to catch the train leaving at 9.46am, arriving at Dullingham at 10.01am.

We will start the hike at about 10.05am. If not coming by train, we will meet at the Dullingham rail station by the rail crossing.

Bring: Food as described above, walking kit - hiking boots, waterproof jacket, warm layers.

Fitness: Ensure you can walk this distance.

Join the club: There is a £1 fee for the first walk and a recurring £1 monthly fee thereafter for members. This helps cover admin costs and fund trips for the club. After the walk, the walk organisers will share the details of the club bank account. On receipt of payment, newcomers will be added to the club Whatsapp group by the club organiser.
