Routes to Professional Registration

Details
Professional Registration as an Engineer can enhance your career prospects by recognising your skills and experience and by demonstrating your commitment to professionalism. This event, hosted by the IET Cambridge Network, will cover the requirements for professional registration and give ideas on how to compile and produce the 'evidence of competence' needed. It is aimed at all those who have started on the path to obtain professional engineering qualifications. Anyone who has graduated in the last one or two years will also find it useful to get an early feel for what is required. There will be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation but it won’t be possible to discuss individual cases in detail.
The presentation will be given by Philip Zirngast who is a locally based Chartered Engineer with over 30 years experience across a number of engineering sectors. He is an experienced Professional Registration Advisor and Chair of the IET Cambridge Local Network.
The event will be held on Thursday 26th June at The Bradfield Centre, 184 Cambridge Science Park Road, Cambridge CB4 0GA. Refreshments will be provided from 18:00 with the presentation starting at 18:30 and ending at 20:00. Parking will be available from 18:00 onwards. Registration is recommended to help us manage the event but is essential for attendance.
