Rocky (50th Anniversary) - Rewind

You're gonna eat lightnin' and you're gonna crap thunder!

Join us for Rocky, the legendary 1976 boxing drama from director John G. Avildsen, written by and starring Sylvester Stallone, returning to the big screen to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The film follows Rocky Balboa, a small-time Philadelphia boxer who gets an unexpected shot at world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed. What follows is one of cinema's greatest underdog stories.

This screening is also a perfect follow-up to our I Play Rocky Meetup on Sat 7th Nov. Just three days after watching the remarkable story of how the film came together, we'll get to experience the original on the big screen!

📅 Tuesday 10th November
🎥 Film starts: 7:15pm
🕢 Film finishes: approximately 9:36pm
📍 The Light, Cambridge Leisure Park

I've booked seat D8, so feel free to book somewhere nearby if you'd like to sit together.

When you've booked your seat, you can post a comment to share your seat number so other members know where you're sitting.

We won't be meeting in the foyer beforehand. Just head straight into the screening, find your seat and say hello!

No need to arrive early or worry about finding the group.

As this is a later screening, we won't be organising a film chat afterwards, but we can have a quick chat in the foyer before heading home.

See you at the movies! 🎬
