Sicario - Through the Lens

The border is just another line to cross

Join us for Sicario, Denis Villeneuve's gripping 2015 crime thriller, starring Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin, returning to the big screen as part of The Light's Through the Lens director retrospective.

The film follows idealistic FBI agent Kate Macer as she's recruited into a secretive task force tackling the escalating drug war along the US-Mexico border. As the operation becomes increasingly dangerous, she finds herself caught in a murky world where the lines between right and wrong are anything but clear.

🎟️ BOOKING YOUR TICKET

Everyone books their own cinema ticket using the link below:

https://cambridge.thelight.co.uk/sicario

I've booked seat E11, so feel free to book somewhere nearby if you'd like to sit together.

When you've booked your seat, you can post a comment to share your seat number so other members know where you're sitting.

We won't be meeting in the foyer beforehand. Just head straight into the screening, find your seat and say hello!

No need to arrive early or worry about finding the group.

🎬 A QUICK CHAT AFTERWARDS

As this is a later screening, we won't be organising our usual drinks and film chat, but we can have a quick catch-up in the foyer before heading home.

Whether you're revisiting a modern classic or discovering Sicario for the first time, it's a great opportunity to experience Villeneuve's tense, atmospheric thriller on the big screen.

See you at the movies! 🎬
