Monthly Rust Meetup

Details
The new and improved monthly Cambridge Rust meetup, hosted at Quantinuum's office on Hill's road.
Speaker: John Children
Title: How does one PyO3?
Abstract: One of the recent success stories of the Rust ecosystem in recent years has been the release of the PyO3 library, which allows developers to bridge the gap between Python and Rust. I will give a brief introduction to the PyO3 ecosystem and how to use it, discuss major projects and use cases (including some from Quantinuum), and discuss my experiences using the library and where it fits into both the Rust and Python ecosystems as a whole.
Bio: John Children is one of the Rust Cambridge organizers as well as a lead software engineer at Quantinuum where he has been using a mix of Rust and Python for the past four and a half years (though usually separated). Outside of work he enjoys bouldering and fighting games.
