Talks about healthy & sustainable marketing practices | Networking & discussion

Details

Running a small business comes with its merit and risk. Part of that risk is lacking access to support without high costs. As a result, small business owners need to wear different hats, be it finance, sales, business development or marketing hat.

Marketing as we know it has been changing since pre-pandemic. Covid-19 accelerated the definite future of digital marketing and pressed gas on online shopping.

Competition from other small and large businesses is on the rise. Customers are becoming increasingly tech-savvy and time-poor. Adding pressure on how small businesses sell and market their products and services. Add your personal life to the mix, and you risk impacting your well-being if you lose clarity and guidance.

There are hundreds and thousands of mixed messages on what we need to do to succeed. Whatever the message, it must be relevant to you and your business. And unless you run a local convenience shop, chances are you need a functioning website and a strategic digital marketing ecosystem.

What is healthy and sustainable digital marketing in practice?

This October, Cambridge Social Media is bringing together a panel of business owners and industry experts to explore healthy and sustainable digital marketing practices.

You will have the chance to network with like-minded individuals and learn about creativity, well-being, finance and digital marketing.

Here’s the agenda for the event:

  • 11 am – 12 pm: Networking (this is your chance to grab a cuppa before the talk)
  • 12 pm – 1.30 pm: Panel discussion, ending with Q&A
  • 1.30 pm – 2 pm: More networking (you’re welcome to stay for lunch)

Have a look at our fantastic lineup:

- Lenka Koppová - Marketing Therapist for Health and Wellbeing Professionals, and Founder of Cambridge Social Media

Lenka helps Health & Wellbeing Professionals create businesses that enable them to live their dream life. She helps them use digital marketing strategically so they can grow their business (without feeling overwhelmed) in a way that sustains their business long-term.

- Thana Asaad - Digital Marketing Specialist & Trainer, and Co-Founder of Cambridge Social Media

Thana works with businesses (agencies, entrepreneurs, social enterprises, NGOs and brands) to help them create and lead customer-oriented strategies and data-driven tactics for sustainable marketing practices on the web. She helps them build and improve their online presence whether that’s thru social media management, search engine optimisation SEO, email marketing, or paid search and paid social.

- Chloe Ambrose - Creativity Director at Creative Strides

Never shy of paving her own quirky way is Independent Creativity Director Chloe. After graduating in television and scriptwriting in 2016, Chloe hopped from in-house marketing teams to agencies before coming to the realisation…no one makes enough time for creativity. The type of creative thinking that questions existing practices and forces us not to just tick the marketing box. So, she decided enough was enough, propelling her to set up creativity-boosting workshops and services for creatively stuck marketers in need of a new brand direction.

- Sarah Anthony - Transformational Executive and Leadership Coach

As a transformational Executive and Leadership Coach with around 2,000 hours of coaching under her belt, Sarah Anthony co-founded North Point Academy, a coaching and coach training organisation in the UAE. Having returned to the UK in 2017, Sarah now heads up North Point in the UK, while continuing to build the business in the UAE as well as now delivering globally online.

As co-founder of North Point Academy, Sarah co-designed the NPA Certificate in Professional Coaching (CPC), an ICF-accredited coach development training programme. She also delivers all aspects of the programme both as a public programme and internally within organisations.
