Welcome to Cambridge x AI x Art – Research & Creation Meetup!
This group brings together artists, technologists, researchers, and emotionally curious minds to explore how artificial intelligence intersects with art, emotion, memory, and speculative futures.
The group is founded by Yuanyu Li, a computational artist currently in residence at Cambridge Artworks (July 2025). Her project, centered around an AI lover built from her own language and behavior, invites public engagement on questions like:
— Can affection be programmed?
— What does belief mean in a machine-human relationship?
— What does it feel like to love something that doesn’t exist?
During July, we’ll host small gatherings, soft workshops, and experimental conversations. After the residency, the group may evolve into an ongoing creative community.
