We are a vibrant club where there’s always something happening…from bridge to boating, parties to pub nights and theatre to National Trust visits. We organise major events too, including BBQs and parties!

· Access to more than 200 social events during the year, many of which are not listed on Meetup (to see them all, join us at CambsIVC.com). Enjoy the opportunity to meet new people and spend time with familiar faces.
· Be part of a national network of 30+ social event clubs with around 2,200 members – our local group was established over 50 years ago as part of this network, allowing you to attend other IVC groups when out of our area.
· Have the opportunity to introduce new events and build interest in the activities you love, with the support of like-minded members and a hard-working committee.
· Make new friends in a safe environment – all of our members go through our application process before any information is shared, or they are allowed to attend private events.

Free bus ride to Welney Wetlands Centre from Ely railway station
Welney wetland centre, WWT Welney Wetland Centre Hundred Foot Bank Welney Nr. Wisbech PE14 9TN, Cambridgeshire, GBJoin Ann and Stewart at Ely railway station for a trip to the Welney Wetland Centre, meeting at 10.45am outside the station, planning to get the 11.00am bus. Why not come by train or Number 9 or A2B bus from Cambridge... The Wetlands can be really breathtaking at this time of year so they're well worth a visit.
The minibus must be booked for both outward and return journeys - please use the link below to book your own seat on the minibus. Please note that there is limited availability on this date at 11am.

Admission to the centre is £6.30 adult; £5.40 concessions (65+, full-time students, unemployed); £18.00 family (2 adults + 2 children)

Histon and Impington Fireworks Extravaganza
Corner of The Dole and Henry Morris Road, Henry Morris Road, CB24 9YG, Cambridge, GBJoin Nick and Val at the very popular annual fireworks event at Impington Village College. For anyone who's peckish, the fabulous firework display will be accompanied by food/refreshment trucks.

Meet us at the corner of The Dole and Henry Morris Road CB24 9YG. As attendance at the event is usually very high and local roads are likely to be busy, if you need a parking space allow plenty of time to find one. Sadly, if you are late we will not be able to wait more than 5 minutes.
