Join us for a lively discussion of classic mystery writer Cyril Hare's 1951 murder story.
Warbeck Hall is an old-fashioned English country house and the scene of equally English murders. All the classic ingredients are there: Christmas decorations, tea and cake, a faithful butler, a foreigner, snow falling and an interesting cast of characters thrown together on Christmas Eve. The murders and detective work are far from conventional, though...
We will meet in the Castle Inn on Castle Hill at 7pm in the hour before IVC Pub night - feel free to stay on for drinks afterwards! The Castle is a quaint traditional pub offering a full range of drinks, including real ales and pub food.
Parking is free in the Shire Hall car park from 7pm.
