Foxton Scarecrow Festival 2025

Why not join Janet for this art exhibition with a difference - the Foxton Scarecrow Festival will be held on Sat 4th Oct with a musical theme - “In Perfect Harmony” - and the creative residents of Foxton will be showcasing scarecrows inspired by songs, singers, music, lyrics, and everything in between.

As in previous years, you’ll be able to wander through Foxton village from one scarecrow to another. Along the way, there will be fundraising activities to join in, including a children’s quiz and the ever-popular “Where’s Wally?”— with a special scarecrow hidden somewhere in the village.

Indulge in delicious teas and cakes in the Village Hall, or head to Foxton's brand-new music venue, The Barn, to enjoy some live music by local musicians and sample some tasty bacon butties and home-made soup. Watch a demonstration of Ceroc dancing and enjoy the fantastic Royston Town Band, who will be performing in the Church. You can pop into The White Horse pub for a refreshing real ale, with beer, wine and soft drinks available at The Barn Bar.

You’ll also be able to vote for your favourite scarecrow and this fun event for all ages will finish with prize-giving and the raffle draw. Please come along and join us for some scarecrow fun!
