Why not join Sue at a viewing of David Hockney's Normandy series, being hosted at the MODO gallery in central Cambridge until the 28 February.

For several years, David Hockney has lived and worked in Normandy, producing vibrant, seasonal landscapes using both traditional media and digital tools like the iPad. Showcased in major international exhibitions from Rouen to Paris’s Fondation Louis Vuitton, these works reflect his ongoing fascination with light, perspective, and the rhythm of nature. His series ‘The Arrival of Spring in Normandy’ (2020) reveals an artist in full creative bloom. Working swiftly on his iPad, Hockney captured the changing seasons - blossom-laden trees, vibrant greens, and shifting light.
